StillHere monitors your daily check-ins. Open the app and tap the big button every 2 days to confirm you're okay. If you miss a check-in, we'll send you a push notification first. If you still don't respond within 2 hours, we'll send a WhatsApp message and email to your emergency contact — including your last known location.
First, we'll send you a push notification reminding you to check in. You'll have a 2-hour grace period to tap the button. If you still don't check in after the grace period, your emergency contact will receive a WhatsApp message and email alert with your location.
Your location is only accessed in two situations: (1) when you tap the check-in button, and (2) when an emergency alert is sent. We do not track your location continuously. Your location is included in emergency alerts so your contact can find you quickly. We never share your location with anyone else.
Yes! Go to Settings in the app to update your emergency contact's name, phone number, or email at any time. Make sure to inform your contact that they may receive alerts from StillHere.
For WhatsApp alerts, yes — your contact needs WhatsApp installed. If they don't have WhatsApp or the message fails to deliver, we'll automatically send an email alert to their email address as a backup. We recommend using a contact who has WhatsApp for the most reliable alerts.
No. StillHere is not an emergency service and does not contact emergency services (police, ambulance, fire) on your behalf. It alerts the personal contact you designate. In any life-threatening situation, always contact your local emergency services directly (911, 999, 112, etc.).
StillHere costs $2.99 as a one-time payment — no subscription, no monthly fees. Your first check-in is completely free so you can try the app before paying. After your free check-in, a $2.99 payment unlocks the app forever.
Use the "Restore Purchase" button in the app after installing on your new device. This will restore your payment through the App Store or Google Play. Your emergency contact settings will need to be re-entered as they are stored locally on your device.
Yes. Deleting the app removes your data from your device. To request full deletion of your data from our servers, email us at support@stillhereapp.lat and we'll process your request within 30 days.
